What is this service?
Temporary works are among the highest-risk activities in construction. Falsework that fails during a concrete pour, propping that gives way during structural alteration, or temporary earth retention that moves — these are incidents with serious consequences. BS 5975:2019+A1:2020 Code of Practice for Falsework and other Temporary Works sets out the requirements for managing temporary works on construction projects, including the appointment of a Temporary Works Coordinator.

We take on the TWC role with full contractual authority — including the authority to stop works presenting an immediate safety risk, which BS 5975 requires and which is confirmed in every appointment letter before any temporary works activities begin.
