The Team Behind Principal Management Services
Principal Management Services Limited was founded on a simple principle: construction health and safety should be practical, not academic. Both directors have spent their careers on construction sites and in project delivery — we understand the real-world pressures of programme, cost, and compliance.
Anthony Granfield — Director & Principal Consultant
Anthony is the founder of Principal Management Services Limited. With an extensive background in construction project management across water and wastewater, commercial, industrial, and M&E/MEICA sectors, he brings a delivery-focused perspective to every H&S engagement.
Having managed multi-disciplinary construction projects through all project lifecycle stages — from pre-construction design coordination through to handover — Anthony understands the interface between health and safety compliance and project delivery. He has acted as CDM Principal Designer and CDM Advisor on multiple projects, compiled Pre-Construction Information packs, developed and reviewed Construction Phase Plans, and managed H&S File delivery through to practical completion.
Anthony is a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection qualified inspector, a certified Temporary Works Coordinator under BS 5975, and an SMSTS-qualified site manager. He holds NASC membership and is an IOSH member.

Ursula Sydorenko — Director & H&S Inspector
Ursula brings a compliance-focused, inspection-led perspective to the business. She conducts site safety inspections across water and wastewater, commercial, and industrial sectors, with particular focus on CDM compliance auditing, sub-contractor vetting, RAMS review, and site monitoring.
Ursula's Level 6 Environmental Health & Safety qualification is complete, providing a thorough grounding in occupational health and safety law, risk management, and compliance frameworks. She also holds Tech IOSH (Technician membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), reflecting her commitment to continuing professional development in the field.
Her compliance-first approach and growing expertise in site inspection make her an integral part of the Principal Management Services delivery team.
